OnWords Learning Corporation is a 501(c)(3) that supports underserved communities through literacy interventions. Funding for OnWords allows trained reading specialists to provide targeted science-of-reading based instruction for students struggling to meet grade-level expectations. Interventions that work show students they matter. The path is not forward. It is up.
OnWords Learning Corporation was created to ameliorate educational inequality. Our program directly addresses the unequal distribution of academic resources, such as qualified teachers, dynamic curriculum, learning disabilities remediation, and academic enrichment that underprivileged children are experiencing.
This mission is particularly meaningful during a pandemic, as typical remote learning is a unique model that is unsuccessful for most learners. Our virtual approach is succinct, intentional and effective. The goal, post- pandemic, is to continue to support children across the nation with quality tutoring, either in-person or remote, that is tailored to meet their specific deficiencies.

I am so grateful to all of you for your hard work and your caring with these kids. You have taken the time to really get to know them and have met them where they are with appropriate tools and games and exercises.
